Friday
Some thundery rain affecting the far south east of England on Friday morning, this could be heavy at times. A further area of rain associated with an occluded front will be moving east through Ireland and reaching western Scotland during the early afternoon then passing eastwards. The rain reaches western Wales, and western England as the afternoon progresses. Other areas are going to be generally dry although the rain band crosses northern England later. Becoming brighter through Ireland and west of the UK with some showers. Highs at 15 to 18C with the winds becoming a moderate to fresh west to southwesterly.

Friday Night
Overnight, most places tending to become drier with clearer spells developing, though showers still affecting some western areas with cloud perhaps filling in more through the early hours into Saturday. Lows at 7 to 10C.

 
 
 

Saturday
A ridge of high-pressure building through the British Isles on Saturday, with high-pressure centred in the English Channel. That should bring generally fair conditions with some decent spells of sunshine for many areas. There will be some showers affecting western Scotland and northwest Ireland as a trough moves eastwards, and this will lead to the showers being heavy and prolonged at times here. Highs at 21C southern England, 12C in western Scotland.

Sunday
Low pressure is west of Scotland on Sunday, high pressure to the south. It should be a dry and bright day for most, good spells of sunshine to come too. Some cloud and rain affecting northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland. Showers also likely to push across west Wales and northwest England during the afternoon. Highs at 23C in the east, 13C in western Scotland.
