Very warm in south
Heavy rain/showers

Sunday
Showers continue to push northwards up the country on Sunday, some will be heavy with the risk of thunderstorms across England, Wales and later into southern parts of Scotland. Showers will be hit and miss so not everywhere will get them and many places will remain dry with warm sunshine. Much of Ireland as well as northern Scotland should stay largely dry with sunny spells. More showers, these heavy for some, will push up from the south later in the day into the evening across southern parts of England. A warm and humid feeling day with highs at 16 to 24C.


Sunday Night
Overnight, showers in the south quickly merge into longer spells of rain and push northwards across central areas, Wales and Ireland before clearing here and moving into northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland by dawn. Rain is likely to be heavy for many with the risk of thunder and lightning. Lows at 8 to 12C.
 


Monday
A band of heavy rain continues to push northwards up the country on Monday, rain falling heavy for some across Scotland. Meanwhile showery rain gradually clearing from the south with sunshine developing across much of England and Wales. Warm across England, Wales and much of Ireland with highs at 18 to 24C, cooler through Scotland with highs at 12 to 16C.
 


Tuesday
A rather muggy feeling day on Tuesday with rather a lot of cloud about, though some bright and sunny spells are expected, these best further west. Many places look to be largely dry, however, outbreaks of rain will push in and affect western areas including much of Ireland through the day. There is much uncertainty on the extract advancement of the rain east at this stage. Another warm day for many with highs at 16 to 25C.
