Tuesday
Cloud and some outbreaks of patchy rain through central England and Wales this morning, this reaching southern and southeast England. The rain fading and the cloud breaking as the morning progresses with some sunny spells developing. Elsewhere the morning is bright with sunny spells. A few showers affecting western coasts and hills. Thicker cloud and more persistent rain may affect the far northwest of Scotland this afternoon. Highs at 20C in southeast England, 10C in northwest Scotland, more widely 15 to 18C.

Tuesday Night
Breezy in Scotland tonight as a front sinks south bringing cloud and periods of rain, mostly ion western and central areas. Drier for England and Wales, clear spells here and there, most in the east. Later in the night cloud and rain will be arriving in southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Lows near 7 to 9C.
 

Wednesday
A front passing eastwards through England and Wales on Wednesday morning takes a band of rain with it, this becoming slow moving over parts of East Anglia and southeast England in the afternoon. Showers for northern and western Scotland as well as Ireland, some of these heavy. For other areas of England, Wales and eastern Ireland the afternoon should be dry and brighter with sunny spells. Highs at 18C in the southeast, 12 to 15C for others.

Thursday
A weak ridge of high pressureover southern England on Thursday as low pressure passes to the northwest. Rain will be reaching northwest Scotland later in the day. Drier for the rest of the country with sunny spells, best in the east. The cloud increasing in northwest England as well as western Ireland later in the day. Highs at 19C in the southeast, 9C in western Scotland.
