A more unsettled day on Monday with showers or longer spells of rain moving across many regions of the country. As the day progresses sunshine will develop across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as west Scotland but also showers contining, some of these likely to be heavy with the risk of hail and thunder. Feeling cooler with highs at 13 to 18C.
 

Monday Night
Overnight, clear spells continue across Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as north and west Scotland though a few scattered showers cannot be ruled out here. Heavy showers and or longer spells of rain continue to affect east Scotland as well as much of England and Wales. Lows at 7 to 10C for most, though cooler across northwest Scotland.
 

Tuesday
By Tuesday, any rain or heavy showers will be confined to the far east while sunshine progressively develops from the west though showers are also likely to affect many western areas. Drier centrally. A fresher feeling day with highs at around the seasonal average 14 to 18C.
 

Wednesday
Outbreaks of rain continue to push eastwards across the country through Wednesday morning before clearing to see drier and brighter weather develop behind, though some scattered showers cannot be ruled out, heavy and frequent across north and west Scotland. Winds will be strengthened and blustery, particularly across northern Scotland where they could reach gale force. Highs at 13 to 18C.
