Friday
Higher pressure builds in from the southwest on Friday. There will be mostly dry and bright conditions with sunny spells. A cooler north-westerly flow though in the strong sunshine should feel pleasant. Scattered showers, however, will affect north and west Scotland perhaps affecting the hills across northern England. Highs at 12 to 15C in Scotland and northern England, 20C in southern England.

Friday Night
Overnight, it will continue to be mainly dry with clear skies for many as high pressure is close by, though scattered showers pushing on to north and northwest Scotland, perhaps affecting some coastal counties of eastern England, is still expected. Chiller than of late with lows for many dipping down to 3 to 6C.
 

Saturday
High pressure is going to be just to the north of Ireland on Saturday. Dry weather for most of the country with lasting sunny spells. Isolated showers could affect northern Scotland and perhaps some eastern areas of the UK as a northerly wind flow sets up. Cooler in the east with highs here at 14C though up to around 18 or 19C in the south and west.
 

Sunday
A risk of the showers becoming more widespread on Sunday, mostly across Scotland, northern and eastern England. Tending to be drier and brighter in the west and south with the best of the sunny spells here. Highs at a cooler 11C in the east though up to 17C further west and in southern Ireland.
