Friday
A ridge of high pressure building through the UK and Ireland on Friday. The northerly flow brings some showers to northeast Scotland and the eastern coasts of England. A few showers in the far southwest of England and Ireland too. Dry elsewhere with lots of sunshine after an early frost. High temperatures at 3 to 7C.
 


Friday Night
A mostly dry and clear night across the UK and Ireland. Some cloud and some outbreaks of rain to the far northeast. Cloud also builds to the southwest as an area of low pressure approaches with a few showery outbreaks of rain later for the far southwest of Ireland and England. A cold night with a widespread frost and some icy patches. Lows at -1 to 2C across much of the UK, 3 to 7C for Ireland and Northern Ireland.


Saturday
High pressure remains over Scotland, northern England and much of Ireland on Saturday with a widespread frost to start the day. It should be a mostly dry and sunny day here. Feeling cold too with some showers for northern Scotland. To the south an area of low pressure passes east and this will be bringing strong winds, cloud and rain to southern coastal areas of England. Highs at 2 to 8C.


Sunday
A chilly start to the day on Sunday with higher pressure to the west and lower pressure to the south and east. A widespread early frost. Some showers around northern and eastern coasts, these wintry on hills. Sunny spells elsewhere. High temperatures at 1 to 7C.
