Cloud and showers in northeast Scotland, dry to the west of Scotland with brighter spells. Temperatures 4C in northern Scotland, 6C in northern England and 10C in southeast England.

Breezy with cloud and rain in northern England and north Wales. Further showers in southern England. Another area of showers affecting northeast Scotland, some of these heavy. Showers for southwest England to. Ireland should be dry under clearer skies. Temperatures at 5C in southern England, -2C in Scotland and Ireland.

Low pressure to the east of the UK on Friday. Coud and outbreaks of rain in centra and eastern parts of England. Western areas will be brighter with sunny spells. Scattered showers over the hills of Wales and southwest Eng;and. Dry and bright in Ireland, the best sunshine in the east. Highs at 9C in southeast England, 5 to 7C for most.

Low pressure will push fronts eastwards through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. The rain turning heavy at times and turning to snow over the hills of northern England and Scotland. Drier in the east at first, but rain arriving here later. Heavy showers and brighter weather following into Ireland and the west of the UK. Temperatures at 1 to 4C in Scotland and northern England, 7 to 9C in southern England, Wales and Ireland.
