Breezy with rain in southwest England and along southern coasts too. Drizzle and outbreaks of rain in southern Wales, this extending into eastern, southern and central Ireland. A further area of drizzle in eastern Scotland. Drier for other areas with a fair amount of cloud and a brisk southeast breeze. The best of any brightness is likely in western Scotland. Highs at 5 to 7C for most but 10C in the south.

Thursday Night
Staying wet through eastern Ireland, Wales, central and southern England overnight. The rain will be edging north into eastern and northern England. Spots of rain in easter Scotland. but drier to the west. Breezy for many. Lows at 3 to 7C.

Low pressure over Ireland on Friday. Rain in Ireland and much of northern England and eastern Scotland. A further area of rai arriving in southern England, becoming heavy. The rain then continues to spread north and west to be heaviest in Wales and western parts of England. Drier in eastern England. More rain in central and northern Scotland, heavy in the east. Rain and showers in Ireland. Highs at 7 to 11C.

Saturday
Low pressure over the south of the UK on Saturday. Fronts pass north and west bringing rain, some of it heavy, especially over northern and eastern England. Drier in the far northwest of Scotland. Some drier weather may arrive in southern England as well. Wet in eastern Ireland, drier in the west. Highs at 8 to 12C.
