Sunday
A front passes northeastward across the British Isles on Sunday taking cloud and outbreaks of rain with it, some of it heavy particularly over Ireland and Wales. There may also be a few thunderstorms embedded, particularly over central England. Brighter weather follows into Ireland and the west of the UK, together with a scattered showers over southwestern coasts. Staying dry and brighter to the northeast. Highs widely at 15 to 23C, warmest over eastern England.

Sunday Night
Rain clears to the northeast of Scotland through the night on Sunday leaving a mostly dry night across the UK. A few showers may still inger for western parts of England and Wales. Through the wee hours of Monday morning another band of heavier, more persistent, rain moves into the southwest of Ireland. The clearest skies will be over Northern Ireland, north Wales and central and southern parts of England. Overnight lows falling to 10 to 13C for many, 7 to 9C under clearer skies.

Monday
A deep area of low pressure is centred west of Ireland on Monday. This brings a fresh wind and heavy outbreaks of rain into Ireland and the southwest UK. Brighter for Scotland and in the east at first but cloud and rain arriving here later. Staying dry to the far northeast of Scotland and over the Northern Isles. Showers follow into Ireland, some of them heavy. High temperatures widely at 16 to 19C: cooler over Northern Ireland and warmer over eastern England.

Tuesday
Further heavy rain passing northeastwards through the country with sunshine and showers following from the southwest as low pressure is centred to the west. Some very heavy bursts of rain affecting Wales and southern and central parts of England. Some of the rain will also be thundery with hail possible for some areas. Later, a mixture of showers, some heavy, and sunny spells spread across England and Wales. Strong winds in the west too. Highs at 15 to 20C.
