A chilly start to the morning. Windy in Northern Ireland and Scotland with gales here, severe in the west. Rain and drizzle spreading into northern and western Scotland, this becomes heavy in the afternoon. Drier in eastern Scotland and warm here. Mostly dry and mild in Northern Ireland. Increased cloud in northern England but sunshine in the east. Fair in southern and central parts of England, Wales and southern Ireland with good spells of sunshine here. Highs near 25C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.

Saturday Night
The winds easing in northern areas overnight. Some outbreaks of rain in central and northern Scotland as well as Northern Ireland and northern England. This fades to no more than drizzle and low cloud in the west. A few spots of drizzle in western Scotland throughout, but drier north and east. Dry and muggy in the rest of England and Wales, although again there will be some low cloud and fog on western coasts and hills. Lows at 9C in central Scotland, 14C in northern England.

Sunday
Although pressure is high over Ireland and the UK, a weak front is going to be lying from west to east bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain, most to central Ireland and northern England. Drizzle, low cloud and fog may affect western coasts of Wales and England. Eastern and southern areas are likely to be drier and brighter with sunny spells. Cool with showers in northern and western Scotland. Cool in northern Scotland at 12C, 27C in southern England.

Monday
A weak front remains over the UK and Ireland, together with high pressure through Monday. There will be cloud and some drizzle afecting western coasts and hills again. More eastern and southern areas remain dry with broken cloud and sunny spells. Warm again in southern areas. Cooler and brighter in Scotland with a few showers in northwest Scotland. Highs at 26C in southeast England, 12C in northern Scotland.
