Plenty of sunshine
Cloudier far north

Thursday
Morning mist and fog patches will be clearing quickly on Thursday morning. These will allow for plenty of sunshine in England, Wales and Ireland. Little change this afternoon, feeling warm in the sunshine. More cloud in northern Scotland with the chance of a spot or two of drizzle in Shetland and Orkney. Under light winds temperatures will be rising to 24C in southern England, 17C in northern Scotland and widely 19 to 22C.

Thursday Night
Clear skies overnight in much of England, Wales and Ireland. Mist patches in rural areas by the morning. Broken cloud in central and eastern Scotland as well as eastern coasts of England, but staying dry. Lows at 7C under the clearer skies, 11C where there is cloud.

Friday
Pressure stays high to the east of the UK on Friday. There will be brisk southeast winds which will clear away any mist. Lots of sunshine for most in the morning, and this sunshine lasts into the afternoon. Remaining dry with temperatures at 19 to 23C.

Saturday
High pressure remains to the east with low pressure to the west. The low brings fronts and spots of rain in Ireland, west Wales and southwest England. More persistent rain in western Ireland. Dry with good spells of sunshine in eastern parts of Scotland and England. A brisk southeast wind for all. Highs at 26C in the southeast, 21C in Ireland and northern Scotland.
