Outbreaks of showery rain this morning through Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland as well as western parts of Wales. Some low cloud shrouding the western coasts too. Drier for more central and eastern areas as well as southern England with some bright spells. This afternoon sees the rain drifting into northern England, Wales and southwest England, A few spots of drizzle in the Midlands. Cloudier and drier still across more southern areas. Becoming sunnier in Scotland and much of Ireland. Highs at a mild 18C in southeast England, cooler for western and northern areas at 10 to 14C.

Wednesday Night
Cloudy and damp weather slipping south through England and Wales. The most persistent rain in southern England and through East Anglia in the early hours. Clear spells developing elsewhere and mostly dry. Some rain may move into northwest Scotland and the far west of Ireland later. Lows at 1 to 4C under the clearer skies, 10C in the cloudier southeast.
 

Thursday
A weak front affecting he far southeast early on Thursday morning bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. A further front bringing cloud and rain through Ireland in the morning, this reaching the far southwest of England this afternoon. Rain also getting into the far west of Scotland later. A ridge of high pressure elsewhere bringing drier weather and sunny spells. Highs at 16C under the sunnier skies, 12 to 15C elsewhere.

Friday
Cloud and outbreaks of rain passing east overnight into Friday, clearing the east early on Friday morning. Some heavy showers merging into longer spells of rain for western Scotland and the north and west of Ireland. Brighter for other areas with broken cloud and some sunny spells. A few showers may afect western coasts of Wales and England. Highs at a mild 17C in southern England, a much cooler 10 to 13C in the cloudier north and west.
