Mist and fog patches on Tuesday morning for many areas. These will be clearing to leave a fair start to the day with sunny spells. Increasing cloud in the southwest and across the far south of Ireland with the breeze increasing here too. Some drizzle over southern Irish coasts too with a few bits in northeast Scotland. This afternoon is going to be staying mostly dry. Some reasonable spells of sunshine. More cloud in much of Scotland as well as southern wales, southwest England and southern Ireland. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, milder in southern England at 18C.

Periods of rain across central and southern Ireland as well as Wales and southwest England. Low cloud and mist with low cloud affecting southern and western coasts and hills. Easter and northern parts of England as well as much of Scotland and Northern Ireland should be dry with an increasing easterly breeze. Some drizzle in eastern Scotland too. Lows near 4C in central Scotland, 11C in southern England.

Wednesday
Low pressure southwest of Ireland on Wednesday. Cloud and rain across Ireland and much of England and Wales, some of the rain heavy in the west where there will be cloud shrouding hills and coasts too. Drier in the east, although some spots of drizzle here. Drier for Scotland and the far north of England with a brisk southeast breeze. Drier and brighter in northern Scotland. The rain and drizzle affecting much of England, Wales, Ireland and southern Scotland. Fair in central and northern Scotland as conditions turn drier in the far south of England. Highs at 9 to 16C.

Thursday
Low pressure stays west of Ireland on Thursday. A damp day with rain across Scotland , central and eastern England, some of it heavy. Perhaps drier in Wales and western and southern parts of England. Becoming brighter in the west and south later with sunny spells. Remaining damp in the east, although rain will be easing. Further rain arrives in the west of Ireland where it will be remaining windy. Highs at 11 to 17C.
