Friday
Friday sees some showery rain moving eastwards across Scotland, though it will soon brighten and dry up here behind. A wet morning with some rain about across the Borders into northern England but this will graudally clear with brighter weather to follow too. Rather cloudy in the morning through much of central and southern England and Wales with some patchy light rain, but most places staying dry. Brighter spells developing here from the north in the afternoon. Bright too through Northern Ireland. Highs at a mild 16 to 18C across parts of England, a cooler 10 to 13C in the north and west.

Friday Night
Largely dry for the first half of the night then cloud builds and rain pushes in to the west through the early hours with strengthening winds. Staying dry further south and east. A chilly night in the north with the chance of some frost over higher ground. Lows dropping to 2 to 4C in the north, more like 7 to 13C elsewhere.
 

Saturday
A windy and blustery day is expected on Saturday thanks to low pressure close by to Scotland. Frequent, blustery and heavy showers in the west as well as bands of rain pushing eastwards across Wales and England, though much of central and eastern England looking to stay dry. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, a milder 17C in southeast England.
 

Sunday
The south and southeast stays dry with some sunny spells on Sunday. Rain moves in across southwest England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland into northern England. Much of Scotland looks to remain dry until evening. Highs at 11 to 17C.
