Breezy, broken cloud
Brighter Saturday

Friday
Morning mist and fog patches in England and Wales will be slowly lifting. It may be that the mist and low coud linger in some sheltered areas through the day, but for most it should clear allowing a few brighter spells to develop. Thicker cloud in Scotland and Ireland with some spots of rain on hills. This afternoon sees further cloud in Northern Ireland and Scotland but it should be dry. Breezy in Ireland too. England and Wales should be mostly dry with variable cloud. Some low cloud lingers but bright or sunny spells here and there. Highs at a very mild 12 to 16C.


Friday Night
A dry night ahead but one which will become misty and murky in some areas. There will be fog patches developing, especially in Wales, southern England and eastern Scotland but just about anywhere could see them. Elsewhere a few clear spells. Lows at 6 to 8C.

 
 
 


Saturday
High pressure centred over Norway on Saturday. A brisk east to southeast flow affects all parts of the country and it will be remaining cool. There will be broken cloud and some good spells of sunshine. The best of the sunshine will be in northern and western areas. eastern coasts will always be at risk of seeing some low cloud. Highs at 10 to 13C.
 


Sunday
Pressure stays high on Sunday with the centre of the high being over Norway again. A cold easterly flow affects the whole of the UK and Ireland. There will be spells of sunshine, the best of these in the west. Some areas of low cloud could affect eastern coasts at times. Highs at 9 to 12C.
