Monday
Low pressure will be toward the south-west and fronts will pivot across west and northern regions. Some rain or drizzle moves north across Scotland and Northern Ireland, persistently damp for many hours. Largely dry for England and Wales, but rather murky, with widespread fog in the morning. Staying dull for many areas, but some breaks forming. A little sun trying to break through, best in south-east where feeling quite warm. A light southeasterly breeze. Highs 10 to 15C.

Monday night
Staying mild for all. A lot of cloud, with fog over the hills, and murky to low levels in places. Some rain will come into Ireland and the far south-west of Britain. Dry for most places. Some patchy drizzle and general dampness. South to southeasterly winds strengthening around western coasts. Clearer spots in northern Scotland may fall to 5C, but for most of the UK and Ireland temperatures staying up at 8 to 11C.

Tuesday
Low pressure will be to the west over the Atlantic, whilst high pressure resides over eastern Europe. A strengthening south to southeasterly breeze, reaching gale force around south-western coasts. Pulses of rain spreading northeastwards across Britain, although much of central-eastern England will stay dry. Heavy rain is likely to move into the south-west of England & Wales, also southern Ireland. Generally mild and avoiding frost overnight, highs 10 to 14C.

Wednesday
Low pressure lies to the west, with fronts pushing in from the Atlantic. Areas of rain will push erratically northeastwards across Britain. Some persistent rain possible in the west, heaviest over south-facing hills, particularly south-west England and south Wales. Some rain likely advancing into the Midlands. Least rain toward the east & north-east. Breezy, or windy in the west with gales near exposed coasts. Quite mild, highs 10 to 14C.
