Cloud breaking with the best sunshine probably in northeast England and eastern Scotland. The rain arrives in the far west of Scotland, western Wales and the far west of England by the evening. Winds tending to increase during the day. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Rain persists in western parts of the UK. The rain could be heavy at times. More rain affecting southern coasts of England. Drier in Ireland with bright spells and scattered showers. Probably drier in eastern parts of Scotland as well. Lows near 3 to 7C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
Low pressure over the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. This brings lots of cloud and outbreaks of rain, this heavy at times. Most rain is expected in more western areas. The rain becomes lighter in central and eastern areas before fading away. Becoming drier and brighter to the west too. Further rain may return to southern Ireland and southwest England by evening. Highs at 11 to 15C so feeling mild for all.

Thursday
A ridge of high pressure builds into Ireland and the west of the UK on Sunday. The flow turns more northeasterly and this leads to eastern areas seing most cloud and some showers. Tending to be brighter in the west with the best of the sunshine here. Some showers in eastern Ireland, but these fading. Another cold day with an early frost and temperatures reaching 7 to 10C.
