Thursday
A few mist patches at first this morning, but these clearing quickly. The day is then going to be fine with good spells of sunshine in many parts of central and southern England. Always more cloud in northern England, Ireland and Wales together with southwest England. Some bright or sunny spells here as well. The thickest of the cloud and the fewest bright spells in Ireland, and the risk of a shower here later. Lighter winds than recently with highs at 15 to 17C in the east, 19C in western areas, but to 24C in the sunshine in the southeast.

Thursday Night
Scattered showers in southwest Ireland overnight. For all other areas it should be staying dry. Cloud will be well broken in northwest England, western and southern Scotland. Some cloud may drift onto eastern coasts of England too. Clearer skies in other areas. Temperaures falling to 3 to 5C.
 

Friday
A slack air flow over the UK and Ireland on Friday. There will be some long spells of sunshine again, and it should be feeling warm for many. A few showers occurring in Ireland again, and there could be a few showers in Wales too. However, these showers will be isolated. Fine for most. Temperaures at 17 to 20C, but a cooler 13C on eastern coasts.
 

Saturday
The slack flow continues on Saturday. Cloud stays well broken with sunny spells for all. Generally dry, although some showers developing over Wales, southwest England and parts of northern England. A further area of showers, some of them heavy and thundery in Ireland. Isolated showers over central Scotland, but drier elsewhere. Highs near 17 to 21C.
