Warm southerlies
Becoming windy

Saturday
Low pressure to the west of Ireland and high pressure over eastern Europe results in a southerly airflow. A fair amount of cloud, and some patchy rain or drizzle across northern and western areas. Sunshine breaking through across southern and eastern counties. A light to moderate southerly breeze. Reaching 14 to 16C by afternoon in the Midlands and south. 10 to 13C north and west.

Saturday night
Dry and relativly mild for most places overnight. Variable cloud and clear spells. Southerly winds beginning to increase in the west, particularly around coasts. Patchy light rain moves into the west of Ireland. Temperatures around 7 to 9C in towns, dipping to 5C in rural areas, and locally 3C or below in mid-Wales, northern England and Scotland.

Sunday
A windier day overall - the southerly airflow strengthening as low pressure moves in from the Atlantic toward Ireland. A dry day for much of Britain, although fronts to the west will bring rain to Ireland, heavy at times, this rain encroaching into southwest England and Wales later in the day. High cloud building ahead of this weather system turning sun hazier. Feeling warm, highs 15 to 19C.

Monday
A cold front affects southeastern England early in the day, with outbreaks of rain and cloudy skies. Improving conditions from the west, with sunshine breaking through across central areas. A scattering of showers affect western Britain and Ireland from early in the day. A few showers then popping up across central and eastern areas by the afternoon. A moderate southwesterly breeze. Highs 10 to 16C.
