A fine morning with lengthy spells of sunshine across most parts of the UK and Ireland. Only the far south of Ireland and the far southwest of England may have some patchy cloud. This afternoon sees further sunshine, but there could be some cloud in the southeast. A breezy day once again, and this east wind will be strongest in the Midlands, southern and eastern England. Feeling chilly in that wind. Temperatures at 13C on eastern coasts, 16C in the west.

Tuesday Night
Dry overnight with clear skies over most areas. Staying breezy in central and eastern areas. There may be some cloud in western areas of the UK as well as eastern parts of Ireland. Lows near 2C in central Wales and central Scotland, more widely 3 to 6C, mildest in the east.
 

Wednesday
High pressure remains northeast of Scotland on Wednesday. The easterly flow is expected to persist through the UK and Ireland bringing more dry weather. Lots of sunshine, the best of it in central and eastern areas. Western parts may see more cloud and there is a low risk of some showers in southern Ireland, although these only light. Breezy again in central and eastern England. Highs at 13C on eastern coasts, but a milder 17 to 19C elsewhere.

Thursday
A slackening pressure flow on Thursday brings a milder day. There will be some sunny spells and it will be dry for the majority of areas. Always a tendency towards more cloud in the north and west of the UK and Ireland, with a chance of some patchy showers in southern Ireland. Temperatures at 17 to 20C but still cooler on eastern coasts.
