Higher pressure to the east on Sunday with low pressure to the west. Mist and fog patches to start the day but this will lift to see some sunny spells, however, there will be more cloud about than yesterday with the best of the sunny spells being confined to the east. Largely dry through the UK though rain will spread across Ireland, Northern Ireland into some far western regions of the UK later in the day. Temperatures at 23C in southern England, 18C in northern and western areas.

Sunday Night
Overnight, outbreaks of rain spread across Scotland, Wales and northern England, clearing much of Scotland and Ireland through the early hours, while central and southern England will stay dry though cloudy. Lows at a milder 12 to 16C.

 
 
 

Monday
A front slips south down England and Wales bringing spells of rain, some heavier bursts on the hills, through Monday, gradually clearing from the north. Brighter and fresher in Scotland and Northern Ireland with sunny spells, a few showers in the far north of Scotland. Cloudier for much of southern England where it will stay dry for much if not all of the day while feeling warm. Highs at up to 26C in south and southeast England, 17 to 21C elsewhere, cooler across north Scotland.

Tuesday
Rain affecting the far south of England on Tuesday with possible drizzly rain affecting the far north of Scotland. Other areas are likely to be bright and dry with sunny spells for many after a chilly start. Highs at 22C in the south, 15C in northern Scotland.
