East coast showers
Slight frosty starts

Friday
High pressure to the northwest of Ireland with low pressure to the east on Friday. A chilly start to the north and west. There will be a few showers in northern and eastern Scotland, further showers affecting eastern coasts of England, frequent on to East Anglian coasts. For other areas it will be dry with sunshine, once mist and fog lifts, and feeling chillier than of late, particularly along eastern English coasts where there will be a brisk northerly wind. Highs only at 10C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.

Friday Night
Overnight, a continued stream of showers affecting some eastern coasts, more so Lincolnshire and East Anglia. Scattered showers through northern Scotland too. Largely dry with clear skies elsewhere and places seeing mist and fog patches develop. A ground frost is expected for some with lows dropping to around 2 to 7C.

Saturday
The area of high pressure centres over Ireland on Saturday. Low pressure to the east allows for the north to northwest flow giving some showers in northern Scotland, with a few affecting eastern England too. Dry for most, with sunny spells. A cold start with a touch of grass frost for some leading to a cool day with highs only reaching 12 to 17C.

Sunday
High pressure stays over Ireland on Sunday though with low pressure to the east it is likely to pull more cloud and a higher risk of showery rain down eastern coasts. Sunny spells and dry for most areas. Feeling cool again during the day after another chilly start. Highs at 13 to 18C.
