Friday
Friday sees cloudier skies and showery rain across some southern into central English counties as well as Wales, likely to be heavy and thundery for some. One or two isolated showers through northern parts of England, perhaps even eastern areas of Scotland too cannot be ruled out. With an Atlantic front also moving in, expect outbreaks of rain across Ireland, Northern Ireland into western Scotland. Sunny intervals elsewhere, once mist and fog patches lift, and staying mostly dry. Highs at a very warm 27C across the southeast, 18 to 24C elsewhere.

Friday Night
Overnight, rain in the west will push eastwards and become more widespread across southern Scotland, northern England with patchy rain affecting Wales and southwest England too. The odd thunderstorm may just develop along coastal areas of southeast England. Largely dry elsewhere with lows at a milder 10 to 16C.
 

Saturday
With low pressure just to the southwest of Ireland on Saturday bands of rain will push northwards clearing central and southern England moving into northern England and southern Scotland though the day. Rain for some will be heavy for a time and likely thundery for a few. More rain pushes across Northern Ireland into Wales and southwest England later. Sunny spells and thundery showers affect southern and western parts of Ireland. Highs at 19 to 25C for most, though cooler in the far west.

Sunday
Low pressure sits to the southwest of the country on Sunday sweeping associated rain bands northwards. Much of the rain will affect western areas at first before clearing and pushing persistent rainfall across much of Scotland and northern England during the afternoon. Windy across northern Scotland. Chance SE England could escape much of the rain. Another very warm day in the southeast with highs at 27C, 19 to 24C elsewhere.
