Better Sunday

Saturday
A mixed day for all parts of the UK and Ireland. There will be some showers through southern counties of England, with scattered heavy showers in central areas during the day. Heavier showers and a risk of more persistent rain extending from southern Ireland, through Wales and into parts of northwest England and southern Scotland this slipping south to northeast England during the day. Frequent showers in northeast Scotland, but drier and brighter in the west. Breezy in northern Scotland. Highs at 15C in southeast England, 9C in northern Scotland.


Saturday Night
A cool night with frequent showers in northern and eastern Scotland. Rain i northern England and north wales should ease. Mostly dry and cold in central and southern England, and apart from scattered showers most of Ireland should be dry. It should be drier too in western Scotland. Lows at 2 to 6C.
 


Sunday
Low pressure is to the east of the UK on Sunday. High pressure is west of Ireland. A cold northerly flow will be afcting all areas. Showers are likely in eastern Scotland and eastern England, there could be some in eastern Ireland too. Drier for other parts with some good spells of sunshine. Feeling cold in the wind with tops at 8 to 11C.
 


Monday
A ridge of high pressure builds over Ireland and the UK on Monday. This should bring a more settled day to most areas. Some bright or sunny spells, the best in the west. Lower pressure over southeast England brings the risk of some rain here, although uncertainty as to how much there might be. Temperatures at 9 to 11C.
