Low pressure is centred over Ireland on Friday. This affects the whole of the UK too. It brings cloud and rain, some of it heavy to Ireland and Wales. Showers for the rest of England, some of them thundery. The best of any brightness in the south where it will also be breezy. Showers in northwest Scotland but fewer showers in eastern areas. High temperatures at 9 to 15C.
 

Friday Night
Showers and outbreaks of rain continue for many areas overnight from Friday into Saturday. Drier for much of England, away from the southeast, and eastern parts of Ireland. Staying breezy to the south. Overnight lows at 5 to 9C for most, 10 or 11C to the southeast.
 

Saturday
Low pressure centred over the UK on Saturday. Further bands of rain and showers rotating around the low pressure area. Some areas of rain and showers will be heavy. Other areas may be drier. Some bright spells in the drier areas. Temperatures at 14 or 15C in southeast England, 9 to 13C elsewhere.
 

Sunday
Pressure stays low on Sunday with a north to northeasterly flow affecting much of the British Isles. There may be some mist and fog patches at first, but these clear to leave bright spells for many. Showers will develop over central and northern parts of the country, some of which may be heavy. Cloudy with rain in northern Scotland. Highs at 9 to 13C.
