Friday
A chilly start to the day in England, Wales, Ireland and eastern Scotland. There will then be good spells of sunshine through this morning, this lasting into the afternoon. Thicker cloud in northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland. There is the risk of a few spots of rain here too. Cloud increasing this afternoon over eastern Scotland and much of eastern Scotland, but for most the day stays dry with sunny spells. Highs at a warm 18C in southeast England, a cooler 10C in northern Scotland.

Friday Night
Clear skies on Friday night over most of England and Wales. This allows temperatures to fall quickly and for a slight frost to form. Thicker cloud in Scotland and Ireland with some rain in central and northern Scotland. Lows at 2C under the clearer skies to the south, 6C in Scotland.
 

Saturday
Fair for Saturday morning in much of England and Wales, some reasonable spells of sunshine. It should be staying fair into the afternoon too, although there is a risk of some showers developing in the southeast. Cloudier in Scotland, Ireland and northern England with some spots of rain moving south. These reach Ireland and northern England in the afternoon. Brighter skies follow into northern Scotland with a few showers, notably cooler here and turning cooler across much of the northern UK and Ireland too. Highs at 17C in southeast England, 7C in northern Scotland.

Sunday
Pressure is going to be high on Sunday, centred over Scotland. The remnants of a front over southern England bring some cloud in central and southern areas as well as through Wales. This cloud should break in the afternoon with some sunny spells coming through. Brighter in Northern Ireland and Scotland with lots of sunshine. Highs at 8 to 12C.
