Monday
Low pressure moves eastwards off towards the Low Countries on Monday. Sunshine and showers are expected, these look to become more prevalent in the east through the day with some heavy bursts forecast and possibly thunder and lightning. Best of any drier weather will be across westernmost areas of England, Wales and Ireland later on. Highs between 10 to 15C.
 

Monday Night
Overnight, showers become mostly confined to the coasts with drier conditions and clear spells developing for many. Showers though lingering across the Northern Isles. Possible heavier showers pushing into western areas towards dawn as another shallow low develops to the west of Scotland. Lows at 2 to 6C.
 

Tuesday
A shallow area of low pressure sits to the west of Scotland which will bring a scattering of showers, some heavy, across Northern Ireland and Scotland as well as northern parts of Ireland. Elsewhere, also expect showers as well as sunny spells. Showers looking to turn heavy and possibly thundery across parts of central and southern England through the day. Highs at 11 to 16C, cooler towards northern Scotland.

Wednesday
Widespread showers will develop through the day on Wednesday, some heavy across northern England and Northern Ireland as well as across some southern English counties. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure system looks to develop out in the Atlantic and track towards Ireland, increasing cloud cover across southern Ireland, south Wales and southwest England later in the day. Highs of 8C or 9C in northern Scotland but generally elsewhere highs between 11 and 16C.
