Monday
High pressure extends across Britain from the south, producing a dry and warm day for many places, with broken cloud and sunny spells, the best of these in the south and east. Light winds and coastal sea breezes. For Scotland and Ireland, a southwesterly breeze will be stronger, with cloudier skies and patchy rain in western areas. Temperatures generally up to 15 to 22C, and locally 24C in the Home Counties.


Monday night
A weak front spreads over Scotland and Ireland and sinks south into northern parts of England and Wales overnight on Monday bringing cloud and isolated spots of light rain. Staying dry with clear skies behind this front over northwest Scotland and ahead of the front over southeast England. Overnight lows widely range from 7 to 11C.
 


Tuesday
High pressure influences the southern half of Britain, keeping things generally dry and warm with some sunshine. Weak fronts passing across northern areas on a westerly breeze produce thicker cloud toward the west & northwest, with a little rain locally, but amounts small. Temperatures at just 11 or 12C in northwest Scotland, more widely reaching 15 to 22C, though 23 or 24C is possible in the southeast.


Wednesday
High pressure stays in charge with dry weather prevailing for many. Remnants of weak fronts may give some cloudier periods for northern and western districts, whilst southern and eastern parts will fare best for sunshine. Light winds and coastal sea breeezes. A little patchy rain or drizzle may come into western Scotland and Ireland. Highs of 14 to 23C.
