Tuesday
A cold day ahead for all parts of the UK and Ireland. There will be good spells of sunshine for many. However, some cloud around the coasts of Scotland and northwest England as well as northern western Ireland where there could be an isolated shower. Cloud tends to increase through the day with scattered showers across the north and east. The showers could turn heavier in northern and eastern Scotland. Drier in the west and south. Highs at 5C in northern Scotland, more widely 10 to 13C and feeling much colder in the wind.

Tuesday Night
Chilly overnight with broken cloud in northern and eastern areas, isolated showers here too. Clearer skies in the west and south and staying dry here. As winds fal light there is a risk of a frost developing in rural areas. Lows near 0 to 4C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
A weak cold front through the Midlands and East Anglia on Wednesday brings broken cloud and a scattering of showers here. Drier to the south with sunny spells at first, but some showers here in the afternoon. Further scattered showers in eastern Scotland and northeast England. Fair across western and southern areas with spells of sunshine here. Highs at 8C on eastern coasts, 14C in southern England.

Thursday
High pressure is west of Ireland on Thursday. A weak front brings some cloud southwards through Scotland with some drizzle over northern coasts. Fair for most areas with sunny spells and dry conditions, the best of these in the south. Cloud tending to increase in northern England during the day. Highs at 14 or 15C in southern England, 11C in northern Scotland.
