Plenty of sunshine over much of England and Wales this morning, although there will be an increase of cloud into this afternoon. Staying sunny in the far south, more broken coud elsewhere. Mor cloud always to the north where in Scotland the cloud could be thick enough to produce some spots of rain in the north and west. Light winds in the south, moderate westerly in the north. Highs at 17C in southern England, 12C in northern Scotland.

Friday Night
Rather cloudy for many areas tonight, although there will be some clear spells to the far south of England. For other areas there will be plenty of cloud, and the thickest of this will always further north. Some spots of drizzle in northern and western Scotland as well as around the far north and west of Ireland. A milder night with lows of 4 to 8C.
 

Saturday
High pressure to the south of Ireland on Saturday, bringing dry weather over much of southern Ireland, Wales and England. The cloud always tending to be thicker to the north and this cloud bringing some outbreaks of rain over much of Scotland, especially the north and west. Further spots of rain in Northern Ireland and along western coasts of Ireland too. There's a low risk of a spot of rain in central and eastern England too. Tops at 12C in northern Scotland, 17C in southern England.

Sunday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Sunday. A breezy day here with cloud and periods of rain, most in the far north and through Shetland and Orkney. Patchy rain in southern Scotland and the north and west of Ireland. Some drizzle in northwest England too as well as northwest Wales. Other areas of England and Wales as well as eastern Irland should be dry but cloudy. Feeling milder at 20C in any sunshine in southeast England, a colder 10C in northern Scotland.
