Sunny weekend
Easterly breezes

Saturday
A dry and sunny weekends begins on a cool note, but soon warming up with strong sunshine throughout the day. A fresh easterly breeze for southern regions, strongest winds near the coast. A southeasterly breeze in northern areas, locally gusty around the hills. Some thin high cloud in far western areas of Britain and Ireland. A risk of low cloud lapping onto eastern coasts of Scotland. Highs 20 to 24C, but a few degrees lower near coasts.

Saturday night
Staying dry overall through the night, with mostly clear skies. Some coastal low cloud possible in the northeast. An east to southeasterly breeze, strongest near coasts in the south. A few local mist patches in valleys toward dawn, these then soon thinning early Sunday morning. Lowest temperatures 5 to 8C in rural areas, perhaps locally lower in sheltered valleys. Nearer 10C in towns and near coasts.

Sunday
High pressure to the northeast maintains a dry and sunny pattern across most of the country. An east to southeasterly breeze, strongest in southern regions of Britain, particularly along the south coast. A weak front lying to the northwest may result in more high cloud for western Scotland and Ireland. A risk of patchy low cloud around coasts in eastern Scotland and northeast England. Highs 17 to 23C.

Monday
Another warm and sunny day for most places as high pressure stays in charge. A weak front edging into western Scotland and Ireland may bring more high and middle level cloud in these areas, and perhaps a very isolated shower breaking out by the afternoon in these areas. Most place will stay dry all day. A general easterly breeze, feeling fresh near coasts at 14 to 17C. Highs 21 to 24C inland.
