Mostly dry & sunny
Coud far south

Tuesday
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the far south of Ireland and the far south of England too. The spots of rain fading through the morning. Brighter skies away from the far south bringing good spells of sunshine. Feeling cold over eastern coasts. This afternoon sees some cloud again in the far south of Ireland as well as the far south of Wales and England. Becoming dry here too. The best sunshine remains elsewhere with plenty of sunshine. Highs at 11C on eastern coasts, 17C in the sunnier west.

Tuesday Night
A chilly night with skies being largely clear in most areas. These clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall quickly with a touch of ground frost. There could be some cloud in western and southern Ireland as well as the southwest of England, perhaps with some spots of rain in the west of Ireland. Lows at 1C in central Scotland, widely 2 to 4C nearer 7C where there is cloud.

Wednesday
High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. There will be good spells of sunshine for most, perhaps with some morning mist patches at first. Some cloud in western Ireland and the far southwest of England. Further periods of rain in western Ireland, most of these light. Little change is expected through the day. Highs at 15 to 18C.

Thursday
High pressure to the east of the UK through Thursday. There will be spells of sunshine in eastern areas with dry conditions here. Cloudier sies to the west, these affecting all parts of Ireland. Outbreaks of rain in Ireland as well. One or two spots of rain may affect the coasts of southwest England. Highs at 16 to 18C.
