A fine morning with plenty of sunshine to start the day. Some bits of cloud may affect more eastern parts of England, with cloud developing inland during the day, although this won't interrupt the sunshine too much. Cloud affects the west of Scotland with broken cloud in Ireland. Dry for most, although a few spots of drizzle in the far northwest of Scotland. Good spells of sunshine for all other areas and feeling warm for all. Highs at 22 to 25C.

Thursday Night
Clear skies for most overnight. It is going to be dry too, a few mist patches by the morning in more rural areas. A little cloud could afect Shetland and Orkney too. Lows at 11 to 13C.

 
 
 

Friday
High pressure remains in control on Friday. This is going to be bringing lots of very warm sunshine and dry weather throughout the day. There could be more cloud in the far north and northwest of Scotland as a weak front lies west to east. This brings a few spots of drizzle or very light rain in northwest Scotland too. Dry for all other parts of the UK and Ireland. Highs at 17C in the cloudier far northwest, widely 23 to 28C.

Saturday
High pressure remains affecting the British Isles on Saturday. Once again this is going to bring a fine day with lots of very warm sunshine to almost all areas. There is a risk of some more cloud in the far northwest of Scotland, but it should be dry here too. Sea breezes developing around the coasts. Highs at 17C in northwest Scotland, 23 to 29C elsewhere.
