Rain and showers
Stays humid

Friday
On Friday high pressure brings a largely dry and fine day for many, although there is a shower risk, mainly affecting northern and eastern England into southern Scotland, a few could be heavy. Meanwhile, low pressure out in the Atlantic indicates the start of change as we head into the weekend. During the day cloud cover will increase across Ireland, southwest England and Wales, bringing rain later on for southern Ireland and patchy rain for southwest England. A generally warm and muggy day with highs at 19 to 25C.

Friday Night
Overnight, the rain becomes patchy as it pushes north-eastwards across Ireland into Northern Ireland as well as into southern western parts of England, across Wales and perhaps affect some southwestern regions of Scotland. Possible patchy light rain affecting some eastern English coasts too. Other than rain also affecting the Northern Isles it will be largely dry elsewhere. Lows at 9 to 15C.

Saturday
With low pressure to the west of Ireland on Saturday, showery rain will continue to try and push northeastwards up the country although probably stall before Scotland. Across the north, expect sunny spells and showers, best of the drier weather furthest east. Showers will replace the rain further south and southwest. Highs at 17 to 23C yet perhaps still on the humid side for some.

Sunday
Sunday looks to be a showery day but with some sunny spells about too, some likely to be heavy once again. Possible longer spells of rain for parts of Scotland. Perhaps a slightly warmer day than Saturday for some and continues to feel humid. Highs at 17 to 24C.
