Wednesday
Broken cloud for most on Wednesday morning, some bright or sunny spells. The cloud is likely to be thicker in western Scotland and much of western Ireland. Apart from some drizzle in the Outer Hebrides it should be dry. The afternoon sees conditions staying dry for most. Always some broken cloud, but sunny spells too. Most of the cloud will be across northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland. Again, there could be a spot of drizzle in the Hebrides and western Scotland. Highs at 19 to 23C.

Wednesday Night
Cloudy skies overnight in Scotland and Ireland, the cloud increasing in northern England too. There is a risk of a few spots of light rain over western high ground in Scotland, and perhaps the tops of Snowdonia later in the night. Further south and east clear spells are likely, although a tendency for more cloud later in the night. Lows at a mild 11 to 14C.
 

Thursday
Some broken cloud around on Thursday morning as weak fronts pass eastwards through the country. It should be dry. As the day progresses and pressure builds further, cloud is going to be breaking with some bright or sunny spells coming through. It should be staying fair into the afternoon as well with further spells of sunshine. More cloud in northwest Scotland. Highs at 18C in the cloudier skies, but 23 to 25C elsewhere.

Friday
High pressure is going to be affecting the weather over all parts of the British Isles on Friday. A fair morning with plenty of sunshine for most. It is going to be remaining fair into the afternoon. Staying dry for all with good spells of sunshine. Only the far northwest of Scotland may see a little low cloud drifting in from time to time. There is a risk of some patchy rain in Shetland and perhaps Orkney. Highs at 22 to 26C.
