An area of rain crossing east through the far south of England during Saturday. The rain is likely to be showery with a few heavier bursts at times. Cloud and scattered showers in northern England, these showers turning heavier and thundery in the afternoon and spreading into central and eastern Scotland. Drier and brighter overall in more western parts of England, Scotland and Wales, isolated showers forming over the hills here. Showers developing in Ireland with the cloud increasing here too after some bright or sunny spells at first. Highs at 17 to 22C.

Saturday Night
Early showers in northern England, central and eastern Scotland, although these will be fade overall, but staying wet in the far northeast of Scotland, Shetland and Orkney. Then dry for most with some clearer skies. Thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain moving into Ireland during the night, perhaps reaching the far southwest of Wales and the far southwest of England by morning. Lows near 9 to 12C.

Sunday
An area of low pressure will be moving close to western Ireland on Sunday. A front pushes east bringing rain to Ireland in the morning, and then to Wales and western England by early afternoon. Drier and brighter in the east with sunny spells at first. Cloud will be bubbling up here with some showers developing, these becoming heavy in northern England and Scotland, perhaps thundery at times. Highs at 23C in the far east, a cooler 18C in the west under cloudier skies and rain.

Monday
Low pressure close to the southeastern UK on Monday. This brings cloud and rain across East Anglia and the southeast with some heavy periods of rain possible here. Little change during the day with the rain only slowly easing. Rain turning to showers in the Midlands in the afternoon. Thundery showers in northern England and Scotland, these showers turning heavy in places. Probably drier in western parts of Wales and southwest England and Ireland as well as western Scotland. Isolated showers here. Highs at 17 to 21C.
