Thunderstorms
Hot in west

Saturday
An area of low pressure will circulate south of the UK on Saturday. Thunderstorms, with heavy bursts of rain in them, will continue to affect southern England and south Wales. The far south of England may become drier for a time with some bright spells coming through. Elsewhere across the UK, it will be mainly dry with sunny spells and feeling warm or very warm, although some low cloud/mist may affect eastern coasts and a few showers may affect parts of Ireland. Highs at 23 to 28C across western areas, cooler further east and south.

Saturday Night
Thunderstorms will continue into the evening but should largely fizzle out overnight with just mainly far southern and southeastern areas of England seeing continued showers. Elsewhere, expect some clear spells and largely dry conditions. A cooler night for many with lows between 8 to 15C.

Sunday
Low pressure affecting south and southeast England again on Sunday, bringing spells of rain, some heavy and thundery. Some issues could come about from the heavy rain in places. Largely dry elsewhere with good spells of sunshine and feeling warm, however, developing showers across parts of Ireland once again. Highs at 17 to 28C, warmest conditions further west.

Monday
Low pressure centred over the North Sea on Monday. Many places dry to start, although some showers or longer spells of rain will soon push in across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The afternoon does look like there will be heavy showers or even longer spells of rain for some in the south and in the east, possibly thundery. Highs at 18 to 26C.
