Wet in western and central areas, drier in eastern Europe


Saturday
Rain moves into Portugal, but much of Spain will be dry, up to 17C on eastern Costas. Southern France will be dry, whilst rain passes east across Italy into the Balkans. Snow for the Austrian Alps. A few showers for southern Italy, 17 to 20C. Much of eastern Europe will be dry. Sunshine for Greece .
A few showers for Cyprus. Chilly for Germany and Poland, 3 to 6C. Patchy rain for northern France and the Low Countries. High pressure lies to the north-west of Europe ushering in cold northerly winds across Scandinavia. A few snow showers for northern Norway, but southern Norway and Sweden will be dry with sunshine.

Sunday
Rain in Portugal today, heavy in the west. Fair for northern Spain but some showers over the central mountains. Fair over the Balearics with a few showers to come in Corsica and Sardinia. Rain in northwest Greece, dry elsewhere. Fair in Turkey with good spells of sunshine.
Rain in most of northern and western France. The Low Countries should be dry with sunny spells and it should stay dry in Germany as well. Poland wil be dry with sunny spells for most. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland should be dry as well.
Denmark will have variable cloud and a few showers. Scattered showers in southern Sweden. Breezy with coastal showers in the Baltic States. Finland also having a few showers. Norway should be dry for most but snow in the far north.
