Rain in Mediterranean, fair central Europe


Friday
Heavy showers in eastern and southern parts of Spain on Friday. Drier in central, western and northern Spain and Portugal. Showers in Corsica and Sardinia with scattered showers also affecting central Italy. Most of Italy should be dry. Wet for Greece with heavy rain in the south. Rain and sleet in northern Turkey but dry with sunny spells in the south.
Fair in France with good spells of sunshine here. More sunshine to come and dry weather in the Low Countries. Fair with lots of sunshine across Poland and Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Fine with plenty of sunshine in Denmark. A fine day in Sweden and the Baltic States. Scattered showers in Finland. Norway will be dry with lots of sunshine although there will be wind and rain in the north.

Saturday
Fair for much of Portugal on Friday. Scattered showers affect the east of Spain with heavier showers in the Balearics. Low pressure brings wet weather into Corsica, Sardinia and Italy, the rain heavy at times. Scattered showers in Greece and Turkey, heaviest in the north.
Breezy in France with some sunny spells. A fine day to come in Germany with sunny spells whilst showers affect the north of Poland. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland are likely to be dry with sunny spells.
A fair day with sunny spells in Denmark. More cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting northern Sweden. The Baltic States will have some showers whilst heavier rain troubles Finland. Norway will be breezy with showers at times.
