Tuesday
An area of low pressure brings plenty of cloud across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday morning. Rain will be affecting southern Ireland, south Wales and southern England from early one. Generally brighter in Scotland, especially the west, but some showers in the northeast. By this afternoon the rain will have reached central Ireland, Wales and much of central and southern England. Staying dry but cloudy in northern England. Bright too and mostly dry for the northern half of Scotland. Some showers returning to southwest England and the far south of Ireland. Temperatures at 12C in England and Wales, a much cooler 6C in Scotland.

Tuesday Night
Rain passing north through England and Wales tonight, reaching all but the far north of Scotland by morning. Heavy showers following to Ireland, western and southern England, some of them thundery and prolonged. Turning drier in central and eastern England as well as central Ireland. Lows near 5 to 8C.
 

Wednesday
A deep and large area of low pressure off southwest Ireland on Wednesday. This brings rain across much of the British Isles. eastern areas may be drier at first, but rain and showers arriving here too. The showers heaviest in the west and south where they may be thundery. Further rain in northern Scotland, slowly clearing north, but then another areas of rain arriving in the south. A strong southwest wind in the south which could be to gale force.

Thursday
Low pressure over the British Isles on Thursday. An unsettled day with bands of rain passing north and east. It is likely to become brighter in Wales and the Midlands, although here there could be some heavy showers. Further heavy showers and longer spells of rain in western Ireland but fair for Northern Ireland with sunny spells. Breezy in the south and far north. Highs around 9 to 12C.
