Thursday
An unsettled and cold day across much of England, Wales and Ireland. There will be periods of rain and showers affecting much of central and northern England, as well as southern Scotland and Wales. A further area of rain in eastern Ireland. Western Ireland will be brighter with a few showers but also some sunny spells. central and northern Scotland should be dry with plenty of cloud. A windy day in Ireland. Highs at 15C in southeast England, more widely 9 to 14C.

Thursday Night
A cool night with outbreaks of rain and showers through the evening across many parts of northern England. This tends to turn more Shari as the night progresses, with most of showers along eastern coast and hills. Further showers in Wales, Southwest England and through the far south of England too. Western Ireland will be cloudier with some rain. Highs at 9 to 13C.
 

Friday
Low-pressure is in the North Sea on Friday. This brings a strong north to north-westerly wind through eastern Scotland and eastern England, together with some showers along the coast. Much brighter to the west with long periods of sunshine. Some showers for northern and western Scotland as well as western Wales. Sunshine and scattered showers across Ireland. All areas are going to be feeling cold, especially in the wind. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.

Saturday
High pressure over the British Isles brings a chilly but mostly dry and fine start to the weekend. There will be plenty of sunshine across many parts of the British Isles. Eastern parts of England are likely to be breezier with periods of showers merging to longer spells of rain at times. Feeling cold for all, especially in the strong northerly wind over eastern areas. The best sunshine will be in the west once any morning mist and fog patches have cleared. Highs at 9 to 14C.
