Tuesday
Starting cool again for many places, it will be a largely dry day for most with sunny spells and patchy cloud about. Through the afternoon cloud will build once again but it will feel rather warm in any longer lasting sunshine. Meanwhile, across much of Ireland, Northern Ireland and west Scotland it will be cloudier and there will be some patchy, light rain about though not accumulating to much. Highs at 14 to 19C.

Tuesday Night
Dry for most through the first part of the night although cloud will continue to thicken in the west. Patchy, light rain initally in the far west of Ireland and far west of Scotland will become widespread across Ireland and Northern Ireland later on in the night. Western parts of Wales and England as well as central and southern Scotland will see some rain by Wednesday morning. Overnight lows ranging from 8 to 13C. Milder towards the coasts.

Wednesday
A largely dry, bright and again cooler start to the day on Wednesday for England, much of Scotland and Wales. Cloudier further west with spells of rain across Ireland, Northern Ireland and west of Scotland, heavy at times. Rain will become widespread across the UK through the day although the far south and southeast of England could hold on to dry, yet cloudy, weather throughout. A south to southwesterly wind will also strengthen. Highs at 16 to 20C.

Thursday 03/09/20
A cloudy and wet start for much of England and Wales on Thursday. The north and west will be brighter with sunny spells but also scattered showers with a brisk south westerly wind. Rain will gradually sink further south allowing for northern and central England and parts of Wales to become drier but stay mostly cloudy. Relatively warm in the south with highs at 22C and 17C further north.
