Low pressure bringing some wet weather over Ireland and this area of rain affecting Wales, northern England and southern Scotland. The rain could be heavy at times for eastern Ireland and the hills of northern England. Cloud and some drizzle in the far south of England. Brighter in northwest Scotland and western Ireland with cooler conditions here. A few showers in northern England. The rain slowly fading east through this afternoon with the drier weather in the west arriving, although staying cloudy and drizzly over Wales. Highs at 7 to 9C in most areas, 16C in southern England.

Wednesday Night
More rain tonight in northeast England, this gradually fading to the east. Most areas then becoming dry with broken cloud and some clear skies developing. Thicker coud and windier weather bringing some rain in western Scotland and Ireland by morning. Lows at 2 to 5C for most but 8C in the south and east.
 

Thursday
Rain and cloud as well as strong winds in Scotland and Ireland on Thursday. The rain will be heavy in western Scotland and northwest Ireland. For much of England and Wales the day will be cloudy, although some sunny spells in the southeast. A few spots of rain in northwest England with some mist and fog on hills here. Highs at 9 to 15C.
 

Friday
Showery rain fading away over England and clearing south through Friday morning. Brighter weather follows to Ireland, Wales and northern England but some showers developing over western coasts and hills. Windy with more persistent showers in northern and western Scotland, the showers will be heavy at times. Showers increasingly turning wintry over the hills of Scotland. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.
