Monday
Any early sunshine across eastern parts of England and Scotland soon gives way to cloudy skies. An area of rain across south west England moves into Northern Ireland, Wales, north west England, The Midlands and into the south of England this morning. This then spreads into all but north east Scotland in the afternoon but clears the West Country and much of Wales. A mild day across England and Wales with highs up to 11 Celsius, cooler for Scotland with maximums around 7 Celsius.

Monday night
Breezy for the evening night and it remains cloudy. Some light rain and drizzle lingers across northern England and Scotland this evening as another pulse of rain reaches Cornwall, Devon and western Wales. This area of rain looks quite heavy tonight running in across Wales into the Midlands and southern England. Dry to the north. A mild night in the south with minimum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius across Britain.

Tuesday
Mild in the south, remaining cool in the north. Rather windy for southern England and northern Scotland today. Perhaps a dry morning across Scotland and East Anglia but overall it's a cloudy, misty day with outbreaks of rain, while heavy showers affect south west England. Northern Ireland becomes dry for the afternoon. Rain across England and Wales clears north tonight with a wet night for Northern Ireland and Scotland, some of the rain heavy. Expect top temperatures of 7 to 12 Celsius.

Wednesday
Breezy into Wednesday. In the morning we expect an area of moderate to heavy rain across Scotland and north west England - dry elsewhere. In the afternoon this rain may edge into western Wales and Cornwall. Some sunshine in the far south at first and this then extends up into central parts of England. Fine as well across Northern Ireland. Rain is expected from northern England into Wales and south west England. Look for high temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
