Sunday
Cloud and periods of rain across southwest England and Wales on Sunday, this rain becoming more persistent through the day. Misty here too with some low cloud shrouding the coasts and hills. Cloud across northern England, a few spots of rain and showers on the hills. East Anglia and southeast England are likely to be drier with a few bright or sunny spells coming through. Scotland should be dry with broken cloud, the best of the sunshine in the north. Highs at 23C in the southeast, a cooler 15 to 18C in more northern and western areas.

Sunday Night
A damp night in Wales and western parts of England. Eastern areas of England are drier although are likely to be cloudy. Some clearer skies in northern Scotland, but cloudier in the south as well as through much of southern Ireland. Lows at 12C in southern England, 6C in the clearer skies of northern England.
 

Monday
Pressure is high off the eastern coasts of England on Monday. This brings fair weather to Scotland and most of England England, some sunny spells but also a fair amount of cloud. A shallow area of low pressure off southern Ireland has fronts around it bringing cloud and rain to southern Ireland as well as much of Wales, the western Midlands and southwest England. Rain and drizzle may also affect parts of northwest England. Highs at 20C in eastern areas, 17C in the north and west.

Tuesday
A thundery area of low pressure affecting southern England on Tuesday. There will be thundery showers and rain in central, southern and eastern areas, some bright spells breaking through too. Cloud and some spots of rain, possibly more persistent later in southern Scotland. Northern Scotland will be brighter and drier with sunny spells. Warm again at 22C in southern areas, 18C in northern Scotland.
