Rain Sunday/Monday
Warm then cool

Saturday
Rather a lot of cloud about, even mist and fog expected in the west, but mainly dry, although lighter rain/drizzle across western regions. Strengthened winds here too. Some sunny spells are likely to break through at times, more so further south where it will feel warm. There is also the risk of a few showers developing across parts of Wales into central areas of England as the day progresses. Highs of 19 to 24C for most, cooler though across NW Scotland.

Saturday night
A mild southerly wind is expected overnight. Many places staying dry, particularly further east, although patchy rain is expected across some western regions. Winds staying brisk in the north and west. Lows between 10 and 15C.

Sunday
Ahead of the main cold front expect cloud and patchy rain across Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland, before turning heavier and more persistent as the front moves in. Windy in the north and west too. Elsewhere, starting dry with sunny spells, but cloud will soon thicken and patchy rain will push into western regions of England and Wales. Staying dry though elsewhere and feeling warm with highs at 20 to 25C. Cooler further west.

Monday
The cold front passes east on Monday taking rain with it across England, Wales and the rest of Scotland. This will introduce fresher conditions behind. Sunny spells developing but also showers, these mainly across western coasts and hills. Windy for all. Highs at a cooler 11 to 17C for most, perhaps a tad milder in the southeast.
