Thursday
A ridge of high-pressure builds across the country on Thursday. This will bring another dry and fair day for most with good spells of sunshine. As the day progresses showers are expected to develop across parts of England, more so centrally and further east. Higher cloud will build in and winds will strengthen across Ireland and Northern Ireland later in the day in advance of the next system. A warm day for most with highs at 21 to 28C.


Thursday Night
A dry night for most, though cloud will thicken from the west with outbreaks of rain moving eastwards across Ireland and Northern Ireland with far western parts of the UK seeing some patchy rain at the start of Friday. Rather humid for many with lows at around 10 to 16C.
 


Friday
Friday high pressure across the Channel keeps much of central and southern England dry with sunny spells. Cloudier skies further north as well as across Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland being affected by outbreaks of rain. Eastern Scotland staying dry until later in the day. Cooler further north and west with highs here at 18 to 21C, while the east and southeast seeing highs at around 21 to 26C.


Saturday
Higher pressure ridging in across England on Saturday will keep most here dry with sunny spells and building temperatures. Further north and west fronts will bring some rain and breezier weather, particularly to Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 20 to 29C and feeling humid.
