 Wednesday
A wet start for much of Scotland with showers or longer spells of rain about. This will will clear from the southwest through the day with sunny spells developing behind. Elsewhere across the UK, many places will see plenty of dry conditions during the morning, just with the odd few scattered showers about. Through the afternoon however, widespread showers will affect southern England and Wales, some heavy and thundery. Showers, some heavy and possibly thundery, are also expected across northern England and could creep into the Scottish Borders. A mostly dry day across Northern Ireland and Ireland. Highs at 18C in northern Scotland, 35C in southern England.
 Tuesday Night
Overnight, showers continuing to affect Wales, some heavy and thundery, much of England too although eastern regions look to stay largely dry with exception to the southeast. Largely dry with some clear spells over Scotland, however, the southwest could see showers develop later. Remaining largely dry across Ireland and Northern Ireland but with the risk of some showers along eastern coasts. Warm and muggy still in the southeast at 20C. Cooler further north and west with lows at 12C here.
 Thursday
Thursday will see showers across more southern and eastern areas of England and becoming widespread through Wales, many will be heavy and some thundery. Showers or longer spells of rain expected to spread westward across Ireland too, heavy in the south. Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England will stay mainly dry but rather cloudy. There will be a brisk northeasterly wind along coasts in the north and west. Hot still in south and southeast England. Highs at 17 to 32C.
 Friday
With low pressure over England expect cloudy skies and patchy outbreaks of rain to affect England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Heaviest of the showers look likely in the southeast of England and through Wales. Largely dry across Scotland with the far north and Northern Isles seeing the best of the sunshine. Maximum temperatures range between 19C in the north to 27C in the southeast.
