Monday
With low pressure moving into the North Sea, expect plenty of showers across Britain during the morning. Some of these are going to be heavy. In the afternoon while there will be further showers, but these tend to become less and confined more to western Scotland, Wales and central and southern parts of England. Quite a windy day to come and feeling quite chilly in the wind and lack of sun. Expect maximum temperatures of 14 to 16 Celsius across Scotland, Wales, and northern England, 16 to 18 Celsius across the south.


Monday Night
Through the evening and the night it's going to stay quite breezy. In the evening showers will affect Wales, south western parts of England along with western Scotland. The cloud across the rest of Britain gives way to clear skies. Overnight most areas will be dry and clear apart from a few showers across northern England and north west Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.


Tuesday
A breezy day but stronger winds come into the south west late in the day. A fair, dry morning to come across central and eastern parts of England and Scotland with showers across the west, some heavy. In the afternoon showers spread to many areas while more persistent and heavy rain spreads into Cornwall. Heavy rain sweeps across much of Britain in the evening. Strong winds to affect the south of England with gales along the channel coast. Overnight the last of the heavy rain clears eastern England and eastern Scotland as heavy blustery showers move in from the west. Expect highs of 14 to 19 Celsius.


Wednesday
It' to remain rather windy and staying quite chilly as well. Lots of cloud around today and scattered morning showers tend to become more frequent in the afternoon. Best of the sunshine is likely to be across sheltered eastern parts of England and Scotland. Breezy into the evening and night with mostly clear skies. Just a few scattered showers linger near western coasts of Britain. Expect highs of 12 to 17 Celsius.
