Increasing wet this morning across southern Ireland, Wales and much of England. Some heavy bursts of rain for the Midlands, south Wales and southwest England. This afternoon sees it stay wet for much of England although it should become drier in Wales and southwest England later. Windy and cold for many. Much brighter for Scotland and the rest of Ireland. A few showers in central and northern Scotland. Highs at 9 to 11C.

Friday Night
Low pressure brings cloud and rain to much of east Anglia and the southeast tonight. Breezy too. A few showers in Scotland, some heavy. Drier elsewhere with cloud breaking allowing for some clearer spells. Lows at 1 to 7C with a touch of ground frost and a local air frost in Scotland and Ireland as well as northern England.
 

Saturday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Thursday. A dry morning with sunny spells for many. However, showers will already be affecting northern and western Scotland and Ireland as well as western coasts of England and Wales. The showers become heavier through the day with a risk of thunderstorms and hail although they will be fading in the evening. A breezy day in a fresh westerly wind. Highs at 10 to 14C and feeling cool in that wind.

Sunday
Low pressure passing south of the UK on Sunday brings the risk of some rain in the southeast on Sunday afternoon. Broken cloud and sunny spells for most, although eastern areas always prone to cloud being blown onshore by the fresh east to northeast wind. A few showers could develop over the Pennines, central wales and southwest England later i the day, but for most it should be dry. Scotland and Ireland will have broken cloud and some bright spells, although isolated showers here and there. A cool day with tops of just 9C in southeast England, 14C in rIeland and western Scotland.
